Privacy and Data
What personal data do you collect from visitors?
We collect information from comments forms, such as the commenter’s IP address and browser user agent, to help detect spam. An anonymized string created from your email address may also be provided to the Gravatar service if you use it.
How do you handle cookies on your website?
We use cookies to save your login info and screen display choices. Cookies used when you comment save your details for a year, and session cookies for logins expire after you close your browser.
How long do you retain user data?
Comment metadata is retained indefinitely for recognizing and approving follow-up comments automatically. For registered users, we store personal information they provide in their user profiles, which they can manage except changing their username.

Can I upload images with location data?
We advise against uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) to protect your privacy. Be cautious as other visitors can download and extract this data from images posted on the site.

Do you use content from other websites?
Yes, our site includes embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.) from other websites. This content behaves the same way as if you have visited the other website, which may collect data about you, use cookies, and monitor your interaction with embedded content.
